Hi just bought a new motorhome and pick up next week and got a couple of questions.
When traveling to a site do you leave your water tank empty and fill up on site?
What do you do with your waste water if there are no motorhome service points?

Hi,

Personally I travel with ay least 1/2 tank of fresh water - the weight isn't going to cost a fortune in diesel and save time on arrival.

As for waste - i bought a Fiamma waste carrier for when no drive over waste point is available. - a large washing up bowl or bucket can suffice.
I also alway carry a watering can to top up fresh water rather than driving to the tap.

I always have enough water in to maintain the prime on pump and taps ,that way you can check before you leave that all is working OK.Just remember to drain the whole system over winter if it is not in use (taps open).
As with motorhomeguy, I carry a clean watering can and top up as and when. I use a five litre water bottle to take grey water away and also keep a 5 metre length of corrugated water butt pipe in case you are lucky enough to have a drain nearby,it rolls up surprisingly small.
