Hi All

I have a motorhome with a Fiamma wind out canopy. I am now thinking about buying a Fiamma Privacy Room.
Hence I would like some advise please, as my concerns are whether I'd be able erect the privacy room alone plus I'm only 5 foot tall? The awning casing is 3 foot above my head!!
Any advise or suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks.

I had a Fiamma zip awning and it was installed as the following
Extend the wind out awning at a height you can reach and drop down the side supports ( as normal)
Slide the awning into the slot at the front of the wind out part
There are 2 poles which support the sides which rest on a bracket at rear of the wind out awning and a lip over the swivel knuckle on the drop down legs at the front ( hope that makes sense)
The Fiamma awning I had was very heavy when folded and I sold it in the end.
Bought wind blocks instead much cheaper , lighter and easy to use

Christine

We have the Fiamma Zip awning and I'm only a little taller at 5'5".

We haven't quite mastered an easy way of getting the sides on easily yet. The back isn't so much of a problem as I can use the rear roof ladder but the front really takes some hanging out of the cab.

I've tried using the awning winder to pull the cord along but if the sides aren't tucked under the canopy well enough the zip snags and it's a pain to get it straight again.

That said, we do love the extra room it creates so we just live in hope we will find a simple way to master putting it up
