It might be worth ringing Hamilton Gas Products Ltd (in Northern Ireland)   Tel - 028 9146 1111 and asking them if they could help you.

They are about the cheapest suppliers of Gaslow equipment and very fast delivery times.

I bought my Gaslow bottles, pipes, valves and regulators from them and they were very helpful explaining everything to me.

Just a thought!

Well, the plot thickens. I have just been & filled up with gas. The cyl. that was empty is now full & cooker works fine. So turned that cyl. off & turned other one on. Gauge still shows full, but same problem, it lights but goes out after 20 seconds (approx.) So what does everyone think about this, please.Below should be a pic of the regulator, does everyone think thats the problem. If so it would be better to have an autochange reg. aggreed.

Thank you all for your help. I have fitted new regulator & auto changeover, & at the moment all is well!

Regulator failure is a fairly common problem - apparently the internal 'rubber bits' can fail due to the oil residue etc that is present in the gas cylinders themselves. Some folks suggest letting the gas settle after changing the cylinder before opening the valves.
