Thinking of buying a reasonably priced dash cam 60- 80 ish pounds (or cheaper if good). Have been online and reviews are so mixed not sure now!! Has anyone experience of purchasing a good quality camera in my price range? Many thanks for any replies in anticipation .Regards

It depends how sophisticated you want it. The one I have, which I paid £50 for at a show, was on Amazon a while back for about £15. The one in the van was about £40 from Amazon. Both basic but do the job.

This chap provides honest, comprehensive reviews of dash cams.
The one I bought cost me £70 and is small , cylindrical , about 3 cm diameter and 5 cm long. It is stuck on the windscreen behind the rear view mirror, and you have to look very carefully to see it from outside the car.
