Hi All

We are due to collect our Swift Bolero 2007 next week we are very excited but would like some advice about what additional security measures any of you use/recommend door locks, wheel locks etc?

I fitted an additional hab door lock and wheel locking nuts.
The Motorhome came with a fiat alarm and a cobra secondary alarm.
You could go on forever with security, if the thieves really want to get in or take it away they will!

We have lockem outs on windows as an addition to our Cat 1 alarm system. And a hidden safe for passports etc.

Obviously, you'd like to think that anything additional, is better than nothing...but as well as alarms, additional locks etc
I always think decent, hefty, well positioned safe box is worth having(something large enough for cameras, laptop, documents etc)/

But as has been said, you can go on forever adding additional security but at the end of the day they're a vehicle with ruddy great big plastic windows and roof lights!

That vehicle also gives the message, ' if I can afford a motorhome like this, I've got plenty of money!!

I have the clutch pedal chained up to the steering wheel using an Oxford chain and another one round the steering wheel to the drivers door. If you try and open the door the chain pulls the horn which on my van is loud.I also have an immobiliser fitted.
