Anyone got any info on cleaning fresh water tank and system? did hear about using white vinegar but not sure of concentration to water. Any info would be appreciated.

Puriclean is what I have always used as it's designed to kill the bio-film which is the bacteria that clings to the plastic surfaces. It doesn't contain any harmful bleach either like Milton does so it's safe to use on the internal steel components such as the hot water tank heater element.

Any camping and caravan accessory shop should stock 'Puriclean' but don't get confused with the tablets as they only sterlise the water and not the tank itself. If you want to add the tablets to purify the water that's a personal choice but pointless and a waste of money if the water container hasn't been chemically treated before hand.

Thanks again.Think I've found someplace local that stocks.l'll do the tank first then think about the water tablets later to purify after cleaning tank.

Buy some cheap coca cola from Aldi 2X Lt bottles leave it in while driving around good as anything else for cleaning the tank.
