hi all, has anyone recently taxed a 2016 Bailey M/H ( boxer 2.2 130 ) I expected mine to be £140 but reminder and gov website states £235. Any help much appreaciated

I think there is a difference depending on the weight.
I.e. Up to 3.5 t and above 3.5 ton

My 2014 Elddis Boxer 130BHP 2.2 is about £230. It's certainly never been £140. I do SORN it in November though, that keeps it a bit less expensive.

I think the £235 is right if it is taxed as Private Light Goods, my Adria is that price.

Motorhomes under 3.5t gvw Euro 4 or 5 taxed as light goods vehicles pay £140pa. Changed after Aug 1st 2013 reg motorhomes taxed as cars according to emissions. I would assume that for motorhomes reg after next April 1st & cost over £40k will pay £450pa until 5yrs old when it will revert to £140pa. 1st yr tax could be more than £450 for April reg onwards?

Look on your V5C. If it's classed as PLG then £235.
If it's classed as PHG then £140.
