Our Autosleeper is monocoque (plastic moulded shell, basically), no seals - over 20 years old and never had a leak. I expect van conversions would be similar. The coachbuilts seem most prone to leaks, judging by the forum, what I see peeled apart to be repaired at the habitation garage & the duct tape I've see along the seams of very old models. But if you're needing to sleep 4 adults plus children, I expect you have to stick with coach builds.
