if you already have an E.H.I card then go the website and get yourself the EHI plus, I was in the same situation ie, medical conditions, soon as I mention heart attack to anybody bang the premium shoots up, not with EHI PLUS, you pay a premium which is a lot cheaper than anybody else, their only contract with you is that anywhere in Europe if anything happens you must seek local health services first, if not available then they will step in and pay for the costs of the medical emergency, plus they will take it from there ie, if you need repatriation or else, give them a try.
