I can't believe that you've been advised to leave the tap open and drive off - must be April Fool's Day. That's so irresponsible, it's a filthy habit, leaving your toothpaste & tea leaves & whatever for people to step in as they cross the road or just see standing in a pool outside their shop because the road gully is blocked. It's disgusting and gives us motorhomers a really bad name - it's one reason why we're all a "Motorhome menace" on the isle of Arran.
If there's no grey water disposal at a site, you should be ok for 3 days as the fresh water tank is roughly the same size as your grey water. When one runs out, your tank is full. If needs be, drain it into your washing up bowl at least once a day & take the dirty water to the drain by the fresh water tap, or empty it at the field margin below the hedge or a tree. If you can't be bothered, at least stop somewhere where you can drain your Fairy liquid & bacon grease onto a gravel track where it can quickly seep away.
And don't just open the stopcock on a site hard standing or you'll have the owner or manager knocking on your door.
It's just being responsible and asking yourself - how would you feel if it happened outside your own home.
Surely you realised OS is having a laugh, like my reply grey water can be tipped into the Elsanpoint.
Regards,
Greg
If you thought that, then there's no hope for you.
Regards.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
