HI all motor homers out there, in feb 2017 we got our new benimar mileo 202 , lovely van , all mod cons etc,all you need, BUT AND A BIG BUT, we have come across quite a number of faults and bad workmanship, quite a long long list,is anyone out there in the same position, we would really like to know, thanks. We are taking the van back , yet again, to the dealership this week, third time. and unfortunately not the last time, with all that's going on. We put most of the blame onto the makers, Benimar, lack care and poor workmanship etc. gratefull to hear from anyone with the same problems, bye for now.

I see you are from South Yorkshire. I thought that IF Marquis were at the Peterborough Show this coming weekend that it might be a good idea to go, and sit on their stand and ask them where this is all going to go. However they are not attending.
So...I would suggest that you say to them that you are not at all happy with the situation you find yourself in at this time. Through no fault of your own. February maybe a little to far away for you to return this van as not fit for purpose. (Not knowing what the faults are you have)However someone on here will be able to tell you if you are out of time on it. Also if the first fault was fixed and the second fault was fixed and it is now the third time of getting a further fault fixed, I feel that you could possibly do have a chance of rejecting it. The problem with finding faults so early in the year and in ownership is that you have not had the chance to try everything out. Don't go in all guns blazing when you take the van in for fixing. But state your case firmly. I hope this helps you. I wish I could be of more help. If after this visit you do not have satisfaction and need a little more power behind your complaint(s) try whomever you may have financed it through (if indeed you had finance) or the credit card company, if it is not possible to reject as not fit for purpose.

Hi, picked ours up late April from Marquis. Albeit they had not sorted out some damage caused by the sales rep prior to collection, we were happy to resolve the issues later. We have experienced a few negative issues with garage door locks not opening, grey waste will not close, leaking sink in toilet, and garage door hinge rivet clearly loose. But Marquis have been happy to raise warranty issues and I await response having provided them with photo evidence. Other than teething issues I expect all will be sorted at some stage in the near future. I have not noticed bad workmanship yet! I have noticed some trim coming away but easily rectified by me or Marquis, I have asked for some glue and new garage door locks. Having viewed and nearly bought new autograph its abundantly clear to us, that we made the right choice. Bailey are nice to look at but when you take a finer look the finish is poor, we noticed trims not cut to size and exterior rubber trims coming away and dis-colouring on the forecourt! Also these are the same issues noticed on our previous bailey caravan, so its a bailey trade thing.

Hi, I purchased my Benimar 202 in Sept last year and is the 2017 model. So far the only issues I have had is that the fridge display does not dim after 10 seconds and a locker lock surround has cracked, both of which are going to be fixed under warranty. Some people say that storage is a problem, but I bought some Velcro cargo nets from E-bay (china £2.49 each) and these are fantastic to put onto the inside of doors. Also all cupboard and shelf storage areas I have lined with ant slip mats (pound world- per roll) Wilkinson's DIY store sells plastic storage baskets with handles which fit the shelves, cupboard and fridge perfect, so storage not a problem anymore.
MPG is 28-30 not bad for 150bhp, beautiful to drive and the best value for money on the market. It took me nearly a year of research to choose the 202 and have done 5000 miles so far..(outer Hebrides- Scotland and the whole if Ireland as well as different parts of UK, faultless so far. Any questions please ask.

Hi - I am about to purchase a mileo 202 and my search results on storage came up with this thread. I too have a doubt on storage and wondered if your suggestions helped and do you have any other tips on ways to store things like chairs glasses cutlery and two peoples clothes as there doesn't seem much room. Thanks.

How derogatory.

We have had 2 new 201’s. A 2017 that was written off in a accident ( not our fault!) and our new ( thanks insurance!) 2019 model. We love them and the amount or equipment that comes with them, but have to say the finish is found wanting at times. Things like trim becoming detached, cupboard doors not closing properly and rattling during travel. The fold down steps to access the bed are always becoming loose, the screws used would be more use in a Wendy house. We had a water leak in our 17 model when it rained which ruined a bedside locker with the wet. Have to give Marquis their due, they have always been helpful and fixed said problems, but can’t help thinking shouldn’t have happened, where’s the quality control?
