You really do just have to shop around the same as any other insurance. If you are over 50 try Saga, my premium this year was very good - - about £260 including full AA European breakdown cover, which accounted for about £100 of that.

Just renewed mine too with SAGA , lol the only time I can say say yaaay I'm 50! saved £150 on last years insurance.

I went on confused dot com in 2014 and found Staveley Head was the cheapest for us, every year I do the same then ring them up and give them the chance to match the cheapest quote. So far they have.

Never heard of them, but googled it and yes...it's a lovely van...I've just bought a T6 and having it converted to a camper, should be ready in the next few weeks...it's so exciting. Brentacre are apparently really good for converted vans...recommended on the T6 forum. I had the caravan insured with safeguard and they were fantastic when we had to claim...they are also recommended by my converter.

My renewal came yesterday from caravan guard £470 so I was on the phone all day.
First Sags £ 812 then reduced to £800.40
Go compare, comfort, Adrian flux, aviva, (asda three quotes),
Staveley head, Performance Direct £465.22 All like mine with European breakdown cover, the nearest to mine was £520 the rest was more.
Ill start again tomorrow.
