Me again seeking the wisdom of the group.
Under the near side cupboard of my Bessacar E410 (2012) I have two batteries.
Is one of them the vehicle and the other leisure or are they both leisure and the vehicle one somewhere else?
Also, the cigarette lighter and charging point in the cab don't appear to be working so I'm guessing the fuse may have blown. I think the fuse board for the cab is under the bonnet on the passenger side but does anyone know how to open it?
Thanks folks.

Have you looked under the bonnet to see if there is a battery there as that's where most vehicle batteries are located?
If there is then the two under the nearside cupboard will be leisure batteries to which one of them will be a reserve for extra 12 volt power.

No obvious sign of one under the bonnet so I assume one of them is indeed the vehicle one.

On newer Fiats the vehicle battery is located under a large removeable panel in the floor just in front of the passenger seat, and not under the bonnet.

Have you tried the cigarette lighter and charging point in the cab with the ignition on. Silly question.

Hi Nawer, yeah I have thanks.
They were working when I first got the MH but in using my tyre inflator it suddenly stopped and now theres no life at all. Pretty sure its a fuse and there is a box under the bonnet that looks to be the fuse box......just cant open it.

It does sound like a fuse gone. The leisure battery system should be separate from the vehicle system.

Have you got an EHU plug in point with a MCB come RCD panel near it inside. Often the 12 volt fuses are part of this assembly or group.

Hi yes I have got a box I one of the cupboards. 'Sargent' I believe it's got on it.
I've checked the handbook and tried swapping a couple of likely fuses but it's not that.
I'm thinking it's more likely to be one of the engine/cab fuses as I would think it's wired into that rather than the habitation compartment.
Any further thoughts?

Sorry just re-read your opening post. If it's the cigarette lighter and charging point in the cab it will be fed from the vehicle system.

Fuses for these are most likely to be in the cab as fuses under the bonnet are more often the vehicle road lights etc.

Interesting. I'll try looking for a fuse box in there then. Thanks again.

Hi Finchy, my vehicle fuse box (Fiat X250) is lower right hand side of dash, two screws secure the cover. Sorry, off side just below steering wheel. Hope this helps, good luck!

The cig lighter fuse is in the fuse box under the bonnet on the RHS. Check in the manual for which one.
