Hope someone can resolve this......"issue"

So we are looking at using a plug board and extension lead.
Would run plug board with individual switch off from behind TV as nearest to door with TV in and then add extension lead so can place cooler box outside.

Is this fees able to do if not suggestions welcome

Do you mean connecting an extension to a socket in the van fed by the EHU and then powering the TV in from there?
Perhaps this could solve your problem wth a continental to uk adapter.

Thanks ks sasquatch what looking at doing is plugging extension in to mains, then pluggable TV in to one of extension sockets and an extra extention lead into spare extension socket so can run cool box outside if this makes sense

Yes that makes sense and should be OK. Often people frown on extension leads etc but short ones are OK as long as you don't try to plug too much into them.

Luckily caravan sockets are protected by a 10Amp MCB whereas domestic ring circuits are protected by 32Amp. Therefore if you plug too much in the MCB will trip.

The only other problem is that it may get in the way or someone may trip over it.

Use an adaptor rather than an extension lead for the TV and extension lead to plug into. Not keen on extension leads plugged into extension leads just in case wires may be crossed.
