Hi, has anyone heard of a recall of Baileys Approach Advance 635 2016 model?. Apparently this concerns the roof. Any news welcome as I've got one and heard nothing!

You can search for recalls on the DVSA website, by entering the details of your van IF it is a safety recall. If it is a habitation recall it may not be considered as SAFETY. Although some items may seem to the inexperienced (like say a TV bracket failure) are listed on the site. The TV bracket failure is a safety issue when the affected TV is a drop down variety in the cab. Therefor, some things cannot be assumed as a safety issue. Just have a look and enter your details.

there was something on the website Motorhome Fun and it looks like there was something wrong with the manufacturing jig that was used for the roof, hence the recall.

hi,i managed to contact Bailey and was told that there are no recalls on any Bailey m/h and they have never heard of a roof jig !

I was at my dealer today and they had never heard of a problem with the Bailey Advance range. They had sold all their stock.
