we had a Fiama Zip awning and to be honest it was more trouble than it was worth.
it is extremely heavy to put into the MH, it takes a while to put up, particularly if its a bit cold when the PVS is stiff and its a nuisance if you have to put it away wet.
You dont state what outfit you have but i9f ypu are near your weight limit check that it does not put you over the limit.
We sold it in the end.
I am sure there are other members that have the opposite views

Andrew, saw a zip on awning on a MH yesterday, much lighter and about 10 minutes to set up with 2 people.
The Fiamma are good but are expensive, I would look at other alternatives as well, I'm sure the forum would come up with suggestions
Have a look at the equipment section on the forum as well

Hi,
I have a 450 for sale, it fitted a treat on my Fiamma and didn't take that long to fit, the beauty is the sides are the same and the front panels are different sizes so you can put as many as you need to make the required length. We have had an extra door and window put in for ease of use, and yes the extra space is well worth it, ours was the party tent in Albufeira last winter.
Regards
Bob

We bought a second hand safari room for winter in Spain and Portugal last year. We did use it if we were stopping for a week or more but it was such a faff and we had to try to find someone with a step ladder each time to reach the van side. Took us a good hour each time and took up most of the under bed storage. It went straight back on eBay when we got home.
Bob, we were at Albufeira last year for three weeks. I want to go back this year, I loved it.
