We have an old T camper van. I use the carpet gripper you buy in rolls at places like Pound shop and cut these to fir on narrow shelves above Windows . These shelves I use for the small containers you can buy and fill them with tea, coffee etc so near to hand. The rest I keep to lay out on the floor to hold shopping bags after supermarket visits and to hold washing up folding basket/ crate.i have screwed cup hooks into the sides below the narrow shelves mentioned before to hang mugs. We don't have a portaloo so that cupboard holds saucepans and a one ring electric hob which we use to cook on ( we pay for camp site electric hook up so why use our gas bottle?) You can buy two ring hobs. Cup hooks are also used behind the cab Sears to hang waterproofs for easy access. I have made a hanging posket( well 3 pockets in one which hangs on the back of the passenger seat and holds first aid stuff, the next day's underwear! And other bits and bobs. Books go,under the passenger seat, room for quite a few. tale and 2 folding chairs and 2 folding stools fold up behind the driver's seat and passengers seat with the use of bungee straps to hold them steady.we don't use the sink so that gets filled with tinned/ packet food. Longer clothes, dresses, my husbands trousers hang in the wardrobe but shorts and tee shirts are folded in small crates which we put behind the back seat ( we took out the removeable shelf that usually fits there.) The drawer under the bed holds shoes, bottles of wine, boules set, and anything else! The storage cupboard with lift up lid holds the food with plastic crates which lift in and out and hang on the supports inside. after many years with our van, Alfie (!) we have got packing it just about right for us but with children on board it will be a bit more of a squeeze! Enjoy!
