I'd agree with David, your rear axle's available capacity is key here..and of cause the *overall weight of the vehicle.
(*once the van is loaded for going away, would the weight of a scooter,and the rack, not take you over your gross weight?..I think the swb 2.2 2007 Avantgarde we had was only 3300kg?)
If it wouldn't,then this is an enquiry/calculation form, that may be worth just sending off?
(although it'd also be worth having scout around online to see if there are any other "instant" calculators?)
