Hi there.Friend of mine has a 99 kontiki 640 but cannot find a way of emptying freshwater tank .Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, there is a drain down tap located in the box housing the fresh water tank on the side opposite the fridge and is usually blue in colour. Water will drain out the same pipe as the overflow under the centre of the van. Due to levels etc the tank never fully drains and I usually scoop out the remainder with a cup when winterising.

Hi,
I believe some of those tanks were fitted with a screw cap in the top of the tank and there was like a lever bung in the bottom of the tank.It meant getting your hands wet to lift the lever and loosen the bung.
