I made some silver bubble wrap panels for the inside of the pop top and they worked ok, but they are a bit of a faff to put up and down. I was thinking that I could make some thermal curtains that would be quicker and easier to set up. My concerns are 1) would it still keep the pop top warm and 2) why can’t I find anyone else that has done this?
Never seen these before - all looks too much of a faff and something to clutter up the van which would only be used occasionally. We use our T5 all year round with the lid up in all weathers and can honestly say this is something I have never missed or needed....!
yoda888, you obviouly don't sleep in the poptop, they're hopeless in cold weather.
As pepe63 has already mentioned go to Daren at purcer screens, the ones he produces are excellent, I used mine for several years and they were still going strong when I sold them.
They come in their own bag and don't take up alot of room, plus they stop condensation on the iside of the poptop.
Thanks for the comments. I think you are probably right just to go for a ready made screen. Fancy getting away in Easter in Scotland and it can still be pretty cold at night so best not to be a cheap skate! 😅
