I can’t access all the menu functions on a 2017 model fiat Ducato display. I have the owners manual and a IQ above one. Press mode button briefly and the menu I get is:
Dimmer
Speed buzzer
Buzzer volume
Service
Passenger bag
Exit menu
Use the buttons right next to the mode button to scroll up or down.
All the other functions aren’t there to scroll through. Today’s date showing on my screen is Wednesday 30th December, and I’d love to be able to change it. Can anyone help I have the manual but I’m obviously a bit dim. Many thanks Dixie.
Hi Dixie
Have just checked menu on my Ducato (2015 model):-
Press Mode -
'Menu' appears on display with up/down arrows.
Pressing down arrow sequentially,the following options appear in order:
1. Speed Beep
2. Trip B data
3. Set time->
4. Set date
5. Autoclose ->
6. Units ->
7. Language
8. Buzzer Volume
9. Service
10. Passenger bag
11. Exit Menu (this gets back to normal driving display)
So - I don't think it's 'you being dim'! I can only suggest you check with your friendly Fiat dealer - I suspect display firmware may be faulty? Also guess your van still in warranty? Even if the 2017 is very different from 2015 model you should at least be able to change the time and date!
Hope this helps!

My 2014 model is exactly the same, I suggest as above, contact a Fiat dealer.
Hi, thanks for your help. I popped into my local dealer and asked. No one seemed to have much of a clue. Basically a young lad said if I popped back with the van he’d have a look with me. My daughter is home from uni this weekend I’ll get her just to confirm I’m not totally dim and take a look. If anyone knows a really good fiat professional dealer in the south west it may be worth traveling. Thanks again, Dixie

Hi again Dixie
We can recommend Sanders - link here:
https://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/okehampton/business-guide/feature/w-sanders--sons-ltd--holsworthy/
Have been using them for 4 different Fiats over last 15 years - the 'best in the west' imho! Just ring and ask to speak to Rex and explain the problem in the first instance. (01409 261212) Near Holsworthy so not too far from Plymouth ... ? (Perhaps also say that they were recommended by Ian with the Adria from Barnstaple.)

dixie - ref Sanders. Only downside is that some of the access roads to Milton Damerel are narrow in places. But worth the journey! (They will supply a courtesy car given advance notice ...)
P.s. Further thought: your supplying dealer should advise both on the symptoms as well as further action re Fiat Warranty work although I believe any Fiat Professional Garage should sort it?

Thanks Iggy you’re a star. Yes I totally agree my local dealer should sort it, but three staff looking blankly at each other didn’t fill me with confidence. I wouldn’t mind a drive for good service. I quite sure the supplying dealer would point me in the direction of fiat. Thanks again, Dixie
Hi Iggy,
I’ve had a recall on the rollerteam for a intercooler pipe clip. So I’m off to Sanders next week for the recall and they are going to take a look at the multi function display as well. Thanks for the tip. Dixie.
Give my regards to Rex! Bear in mind they are a small family run business, seemingly 'out in the sticks' but their expertise belies their small size! Have never let me down, whether with servicing, Fiat re-calls or indeed warranty work.

Well it’s a bit embarrassing really. Having the wrong date on the multifunction display was really annoying me. I picked my daughter up from university and as we were driving down the M5 I asked her to change the time on the Uconnect screen. I have previously tried to access the settings on the Uconnect display to change the date but no luck. She pressed the settings button on the unit not the display and changed the date and time and it’s now changed on the multi function display. Thanks for everyone’s help. Dixie
... no worries dixie! ahem ... the wonders of a university education or that the mighty Rex can do fiat magic in cyberspace without even seeing the van!
