Does anyone know if a motorhome can be left parked in the carparks in Cardiff overnight while we stay with family.

Which area of Cardiff will you want to be near?.
There are a couple of small campsites on the outskirts might let you leave it with them for a small fee.

We are babysitting in Splott. We managed to book at the Cardiff Caravan Park on the Friday night but the Steriophonics are holding a concert on the Saturday and the site is fully booked. In fact we just got the last space on the Friday and its not until June!!

You can park overnight at the Park and Ride car parks. I've seen motorhomes parked at Cardiff East - no height barriers as buses need to get in!

You can park over night at Sophia gardens in city centre.

I had asked Cardiff Campsite about Sophia gardens car park when i couldn't book the night I wanted and he said that he thought the council were tightening up on parking there.

I think he may have a vested interest.

We normally stay at Cardiff site when we visit my son at uni and on every occasion there has been a motorhome parked overnight at sophia gardens.

Cardiff CC website lists charges for 24 hours. - may be worth giving them a call.
