So it’s time to upgrade and although I could simply part exchange it with the dealer I would like to get the best price for my motorhome so where in your opinion is the best place to advertise ?

We put ours on Auto trader last Thursday and sold it on Saturday

Watch out for scammers however you decide to sell it. Mine went fairly quickly on Autotrader a couple of years ago, but not before the callers who were out of the country and wanted to arrange for a courier to collect it, or who wanted to pay using Paypal.

The alternative...you know the price you want for it, and the price of the one you are about to buy. Ask the dealer what he will give you for it. You may be surprised as the price of pre owned vans are very high this year. I would ask them, and any difference to that which you would like it to be could/maybe be recouped over a couple of years by service/mot's etc, and sundries that you may well need to buy.
