I have a switch near the door that turns all the power off. If this is off the leisure battery does not drain.

If I turn it out, it drains. I have checked fridge is off, oven oven, lights off, hot water off and heating off. But it still drains.

Any ideas what else could be draining it?

Ours was drained by some master switch to do with the TV that was switched on. (And we don't have a TV.) Or so OH told me.

That would most likely be the booster box which is powered by the battery so you could well be right. This happened to me a few years ago when on a rally with no electric hook up and wondered what was draining the battery but can be easily forgotten about as it's usually hidden in one of the overhead lockers out of sight.

Having a 12v tv fitted in my van I'm struggling to work out what a booster box could be, could it be an inverter of some sort ?

It's a box that is connected to the roof aerial that is designed to attract a stronger signal especially in areas with poor reception. Some people also use one at home for watching TV especially in rural areas where the nearest transmitter is further away than normal but there is also a secondary switch too you can use if the transmitter is too near or if located in a valley which creates a stronger gain in order to pull the signal down for a better reception.

OK so checked at the booster box is off. So it is not that draining the power.

I have checked: lights, fridge, heating, hot water, tv booster, power sockets have nothing plugged in.

What else takes power?

Fridge has to be switched off. Ours has OFF/mains/gas/12volt positions.

If not in the OFF position there is a current drain
