Took the motorhome away the weekend and stayed on a small farm site. Although very nice it wasn’t particularly level. I have my leveling ramps from my old caravan but they aren’t very tall and hence we weren’t very level. I was just wondering how and what is the best way to level the van. Cheers Dixie.

Have tried the wedge and stepped ramps I have ended up using scaffold planks cut to different lengths so that I can stack them depending on the adjustment. One advantage is that it gives you a level place for the wheels rather than a slope.

If you can always see if it is possible to park with the van width at 90degrees to the slope, then the slope adjustment is on about 6ft between wheels. This may sound obvious but the times I have seen people with 18-20 ft vans trying to compensate for that with no chance. If van ramps are needed the Fiamma jumbo ones do most jobs, there are others which are higher but take up a lot of storage room.
