If you can always see if it is possible to park with the van width at 90degrees to the slope, then the slope adjustment is on about 6ft between wheels. This may sound obvious but the times I have seen people with 18-20 ft vans trying to compensate for that with no chance. If van ramps are needed the Fiamma jumbo ones do most jobs, there are others which are higher but take up a lot of storage room.
