Ive bought myself a motorhome, 1990 Holdsworth Ranger on renault traffic chassis. Lots of bus for the dosh, drives well, slowly.
Im going to need to repair or replace the whole exhaust system. It seems that its made up from renault-fitting parts but cut up and re joined to run down one side, which the original didnt. Maybe it did in France ?
If I need a garage to faff for hours, I may as well spend even more and get a stainless system made. Anyone have any knowledge or experience of this ? Where to get done how much !!!! who to avoid etc.
I had a full stainless exhaust system made and fitted to my LHD Hobby motorhome by Tony Banks of Lakeside Road, Leeds and I can recommend them wholeheartedly.
Did an excellent job that was still as good as new when I sold the vehicle after about 6 years use. Th system was designed and installed in less than a full day and was not as expensive as might be expected compared to a mild steel system.
The installation carried a lifetime warranty that passed on to the next owner.
Tony Banks is a 'Longlife' agent. Longlife have many other depots around the country but not all have facility to hoist a motorhome,

Used Longlife here too when the cat was cut out and nicked off my Shogun!
Just got a section made up by long life to go in the gap left where the cat was.
Thus the car became de-catted, which made the truck run even better.
So to compliment it even more, I fitted a drop in K&N washable panel filter....
