Hi campers! Im looking for some advice re my Electrolux RM4233S fridge. It has been working fine on both gas and electric until recently. It now does not get cold on gas despite the burner showing a flame when lit. It still works fine on mains electric. Does this mean the cooling unit is broken or is it the same cooling unit that works on both gas and electric and its likely the thermostat or the gas jet not giving enough heat? any advice would be much appreciated.

If it was working satisfactorily previously then it could be the thermocouple that needs replacing but the best solution is to have the fridge serviced otherwise is it's just a guessing game what the problem could be.

Have you got the van level? Fridge will not get cold otherwise. Apart from that yes the gas bit is separate from both 230v & 12v elements so could be a fault with the gas.
