Hi Andrew,
As daft as this may sound, check there is no spiders web across the lens.
I regularly have to remove one from ours.
The other thing ,could moisture have got in on the lens?.
Good luck.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Andrew,
The spiders webs are easy to clean off with a soft cloth.
Moisture in the lens is another matter you could try a lens cleaner as well..
Replacing like for like should not be a problem.
Regards,
Greg
