Hi have a question.
On motor home drivers die, where seal on windows is at bottom there is some rust.
Is there a treatment that could be done rather than having to replace the whole door which is what we were told needed to be done.

It depends how bad rust is. It might be possible to remove window. Clean off loose rust around hole & repair with Isopon P40 which is glass reinforced body filler. It’s a diy bodge but one that works. Hole could also probably be repaired by skilled welder. If door is badly rusted & it’s a popular type of van then you may find a good door at a breakers.

I had a strip of rust on my wheel trim. I got some Hammerite, KURUST, from Halfords, it was about 7 pounds. I tried it on an old hinge first to see how it reacted.
It seemed great the metal went back to its original black.
You don't need to rinse it off and you can repaint the metal after 3hours.might be worth a try.
