It honestly does make me cringe when I hear of people giving up towing a caravan because of a bad back or similar! One of my closest friends is a full time wheelchair user who has no muscular control or feeling from his mid chest area downwards, yet he still tows his caravan all over Europe.
I used to own (and built) 2 exclusive caravan sites in the Dordogne, France and did so for 10 years during which time we received quite literally dozens of motorhome owners towing cars either hooked on an 'A' frame or on a purpose built trailer and not one of them was able to reverse their outfits! So what happens if you are out on the open road and have to reverse?
Personally I am with so many of the others on this thread, if you need to tow, then why not have a nice big comfortable car and tow an equally comfortable caravan?
------------- There is a great World to be found out there, but by the very day, to find where it is becomes more of a challenge!
