We are about to invest in a new Sat Nav. We have been using one of the cheap trucker sat navs which generally works ok but is very slow. Have now decided to get one aimed at the motorhome/campsite market. Any recommendations?
We have the Garmin 600 which has taken us round Europe with no problems. A couple of hiccups when we came across a new roundabout but otherwise spot on.
Just returned my Aguri, too much faffing about compared to a bog standard garmin. Will look at the 660 though nothing beats a map check before setting off IMHO
We had been looking at the Aguri before last 2 posts. Just goes to show nothing suits everybody!! Had been attracted by integrated webcam as had been thinking of getting one although have never used one upto now. Are many others using this technology??
I have a small camera mounted on the screen, I found the Aguri one was half blotted out by the screen mounted holder., no matter how I tried to mount it.
New to motorhoming and looking for a good sat nav. The 660 seems ideal but for what reason would you want bluetooth on a sat nav. Apologies if this is a daft question.

I don't know about the 660 etc but many sat navs will have Bluetooth so they can link to your phone to obtain internet access. This will give them live traffic information allowing it to route you around it. Some will then log your speeds on each road segment and upload to teh server so they can use that info to assess the traffic.
Having linked to your phone, some will give you the option of using your sat nav as a hands free for making and receiving calls.
