My new friend has a 64 reg Majestic Motorhome by Marquis of Preston.
He had the cracked shower tray replaced last year under warranty.
It has just cracked again, he rang Marquis , who told him it would not be replaced under warranty.
They would not even offer a contrbution, he thinks it will be an expensive job.

I assume this is because the warranty has run out? If for example something is warrantied for 1yr & it is replaced as faulty during that warranty then the new part is only warrantied for the remainder of that 1yr & not another yr from when the part is replaced.

It is pointless paying to get it replaced if the original issue that caused the crack is not fixed. Possibly poor design with lack of support under shower tray. Are any of the users particularly heavy?

My friend is from Wigan so will need someone near to him to sort it out.
His wife is rather large so that could be a problem.
Are there National companies that do shower repairs? I will suggest he considers a repair.

All commercially available shower trays I have ever seen are nothing other than a quite poor quality vacuum formed large sheet of plastic!

It is imperative that they sit into a fully supporting frame device or otherwise they will almost always crack, hence it is imperative that the reason for the failure is always sorted out before replacing a tray.
