Hi,
My brother in law is using his camper for only the second time and has forgotten to bring the owners handbook.
We’re having trouble connecting the water pipe.
Can anyone help?
Might have to resort to wine!
Thanks

You need to let us know what type of 'van' it is? There are so many ways to connect to a water inlet. Come back with the type of water inlet valve you have please and we shall be able to help you.
If you are unsure...then please let us know the make/type/name of it.
Edit...I did try to Google images of Cl Cipro and could only find antibiotic pills. Maybe they would be better than wine LOL.

As Austin says there are many types the most common is very similar to a fuel cap (easy to get mixed up)

They may need those AUSTINS if they inadvertently put fuel in their water tank.

I can only suggest without knowing what they have on the side of their van.
Both wine and fuel being expensive, to use tap water in a 5 litre water carrier until 'he' gets it sorted. However he could ask the people on the pitch/site that they are at. It would go without saying not to put the water heater on if no water in the tank. That would be a VERY expensive mistake.
Hope he finds a helpful neighbour whilst he is away.
