A 120 litre tank full of water will weigh 120kg. That will make a difference to the fuel consumption. It may also take you over the weight limit for the motorhome.
Can't see the point in not using the equipment supplied with the vehicle, might as well stick with an aqua roll and waste container if thats the case..
I would have thought it was very simple. Just because the tank holds 120 litres, doesn't mean you have to travel with 120 litres in it.
Although theoretically 100kg plus will make a difference to fuel consumption it is likely to be a tiny difference to the consumption of a vehicle weighing 3000kg or more, there are lots of other variables that will have much bigger impact on fuel usage such as driver behaviour, road and weather conditions!

So you only put a few litres in your tank.. you stayed at a nice spot for lunch and chill, you know what lets stop here for the night... but we have no water says the wife. now if the tank was FULL before setting out .. why make life complicated, just fill it up ...simple.
