Hiya, I have just purchased a 2009 Citroen relay camper,
At the moment it has 1 drivers and 1 passenger seat in the front that both are on swivel bases, no other belts in the living area.
The question I would like to know is as there are only 2 seat belts "1 per seat"
I would like to know is there any way of putting a double seat in the passenger side that would swivel, as looking at it there is not enough room.
There are side facing seats in the living area as said that can be used without belts but would prefer not to do this. TIA !!!!!
As you can see, I also have a Citroen based camper with 2 swivelling front seats. There is certainly not enough room in mine to swivel a double seat, and when you think about it, the swivel would have to be in the middle.
Fortunately my van has front facing belted seats in the back. I'm not sure if it would be possible to retrofit a belted front facing seat in place of a side seat, although this would have insurance and safety implications as would fitting a double front seat.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
I'd image there are quite a few companies selling them, if you've ever seen one on a vw or similar you'll know they are not quite as straight forward to operate as the single swivel but still do what your looking for
Well, you learn something new every day. Of course you also need the seat, seat belts etc.. I'm also wondering if you need extra wiring mods for the pre-tensionser.

I can see 'dangling legs' being a problem maybe?
As the 'captain' says you will also need another seat to fit and the extra seat belt.
I am not a mechanic, I would, if I were you 'delburt' print off the pictures of the 'swivel' and take them to a mechanics garage. Preferably one who does MOT's. They will know if it is possible to do both lawfully especially the extra seatbelt fitting.
We can all learn stuff. (I'm saying nothing about age)
Dangling legs will be exactly the same as they are on any seat which has a swivel fitted as its the swivel that adds the extra height, I would go and have a look at a standard van, I'm sure all the fitments for the second seat belt are all built in to the twin seat and the mounting bolts should be under the carpet as the van is designed to come with twin seats.
loads of converters turning twin seat fronts in to singles so I would imagine there would be plenty of seats available on Ebay or similar.
yes you can swivel the double seat .my friend as fitted one , will ask him where he bought it .
