My son is currently travelling abroad and due home soon. He plans to buy a camper van, not a little vw type but a panel van type. Being a caravanner I don’t know where to look. Any ideas?
We are in the north and he possibly has around 10k to spend.
Is there anyone on here selling one?
I’ve looked on the free ads.

Look in Autotrader Motorhomes. You can search by price, location, make etc... It lists both trade and private sales.

We found ours on gumtree normally has a good selection

I think I am correct in saying this. If not I am sure someone will say more about it.
Use the credit card to pay. Your credit card gives you a little security if anything happens to be 'not as stated, or anything does not work'.
Also take someone with you/him to look at whatever he fancies, good Luck.

I wouldn't rule out looking on eBay. It is the biggest market place out there after all.
I know a lot of people knock it, but I've never had any problems & I have been on it since 2001.
You obviously don't part with any money until you pick up the vehicle & if it is not as described then walk away.

Hi Paul and Julie,
We are thinking about selling our van at the moment but not sure if it is what you are looking for.It is a Peugeot Boxer Autocruise Vista 2000.It is a lovely van and really spacious even though it is under 5 metres long.It is not getting used enough due to ill health so we feel we should maybe sell it. It has 12 months MOT and is low mileage.If you would like more information just let us know and we can send pictures and give you all the details.

Yes that's fine.Our van has just had its major service and mot done at just under 42,000 miles.Since we have had it we have had all main replacement parts sorted eg cambelt,clutch,gears,new van and leisure batteries etc but obviously if your son might be interested I would give him all the details.We wanted this to be our long term van so we wanted to be sure all was tip top.We also had a reversing camera fitted which is an enormous help.
