For many years we've had our CS Motorhome covered by Britannia, but have just discovered they don't cover vehicles over 16 year old. Our is 17 and we found out by accident!
Anyway. We don't use it as often as we used to and I've heard there are companies that will cover breakdowns per trip or by month.
Despite my wife and I searching we've not found any of these.
Any help would be appreciated please.

i can't help you with your question regarding short term cover, but I use GEM Motoring Assist for breakdown cover for my 3 vehicles including my Campervan. The cover is personal so any vehicle you are driving is covered.
It depends on the size of your Motorhome though. They cover vehicles up to 7 metres in length & a weight of up to 3500kg. There is no age limit. It costs £76 or £98 per year depending on which cover option you take. https://www.motoringassist.com/breakdown-cover/
