Hi all...
I'm not normally one to be too concerned about what MPG a campervan/MH supposedly does or doesn't do but we're once again looking at Granvias (preferably high top) and a good number seem to be petrol (2.7L & 3.4L).
Does anyone own a petrol Granvia camper?, and has real-world mpg figures for it?
(I know LPG conversions help but that's an extra expense/complication/weight & space "cost")
I suppose I'd prefer the simple, robust 3.0 diesel Granvia but as our Hiace's annual mileage isn't that great(sub 4k?), I probably can't rule out the right petrol model?
(Having said that, I've no idea what MPG our 2001 2.4D Toyota Hiace Powervan festival van does now..but with 225,000 miles on the clock, and the ability to make gentle inclines seem like Porlock Hill, it's probably not getting treated as gently as it should be.. .)
Thanks
