I wonder if someone could help, our T25 watercooled 1982 T25 sits in the hot but does not flash red on short journeys. She's has been bleed and new hoses any ideas?
you need to get it pressure tested, it could be a cracked head, or the head gasket could have gone, it could be anything including water pump and radiator, its impossible to diagnose on a forum such as this, you need to get it to a garage
T25 temp gauge can be anywhere from hot to cold without issue provided warning light does not flash so probably no problem. There is a specific procedure for bleeding cooling system Here . Have you done that?
Hello folks, could anyone please enlightened me. I have a 1.7d T25, she's great, runs fine but threatens to overheat especially in warm weather.. thing is if I was to bleed her as described by jacking up the front all the coolant would p**s out the filler tank in the engine bay?? Am I missing something here or is there a no return valve gone or what? Thanks..

no it doesn't come out! unless of course you need a new top for the header tank
