Hi my fridge has been hooked up to electric for a few days and working fine but all of a sudden the ignition light is flashing amber and clicking. It’s supposed to be electric ignition but can’t seem to get it to stop clicking. Tried it on gas and it stopped clicking but as soon as I turn the flame back to on it starts clicking again. Help anyone

The clicking is the electric igniter trying to light the gas, so lack of gas or a problem with your pilot jet
Turn it off auto & select electric only

Do we have to have the orange switch on when hooked up to electric

When you are hooked up to an electric supply the fridge is switched on to the 240 volt mains switch therefore the other 2 switches (12v & gas) should be switched OFF as only one source can be used. You only need the automatic igniter switched ON if you are connected to your gas supply and the other 2 remaining switches (12v & 240v) should be switched OFF.

If you do ever use the fridge operated by gas then the source of ignition comes from the leisure battery which the same applies with a manual igniter too. Just thought it was worth mentioning as every bit of information helps especially if you are new to caravanning.
