Iv notice water coming through my skyline into my van, also on my vans roof is a stripbar that runs from one side of van to outher as rain might becoming from there,
does anyone no of any waterproof selent or paint to put on this or any suggestion.

I would have a good look around the roof window seals as these tend to be where most problems arise before you go any further. Pull the plastic surrounds off and look for water ingress though the sealant. YouTube is always a good place for instruction on how to get them apart.

I have used Sikaflex 512 several times & found it to be totally watertight.
It is essential to remove the old skylights & remove all traces of the old sealant first.
Make sure it's all clean & dry & refit.
It's a fairly simple job.

Hi Keith,
It might not be the cause but some years ago we had a leak spreading across the roof section.
It turned out to be a hairline crack in the main rooflight flange.
It was only found after complete removal.
It was explained to us that this can happen if the vehicle has been driven over very uneven ground which causes the roof to flex and crack the base of the skylight or even improper fitting in the first place.
Hope you can get it sorted before too much damage occurs.
