Hi I’m looking to know of anyone that supplies new parts for a carver 3000s gas heater. My problem is that it doesn’t light up it sparks but that’s it. Stopped working a few weeks ago when we were last out. I’m thinking it could be ether the jet or the valve that lets gas in. Only info will be greatly appreciated.
The problem is when you start THINKING what is, it quite often turns out not to be the problem so you have to then replace something else till you finally eliminate the offending part. That can be a costly method so why not just have a service engineer look at it and they will detect which part has malfunctioned. It takes out the guess work and in the long run could work out cheaper.
Yes I understand about leaving it in to have it serviced but it had been serviced along with all gas appliances in June and cost just over £500 is it there fault in an old van it’s hard to say. So now I’m going to fix it myself if I can get some advice from yous good folk.

Hi thanks I do have the blue tanks must change . I see all other campers using the red
I would say that's more likely to be your problem as you definitely need Propane gas during winter months especially if the temperature drops to below 3 degrees. However, if you do some research on Butane and Propane gas on the net or in caravan handbooks it will explain more in detail about the applications.
