Hi Hope someone can help with this.
We are insured with safeguard at the moment but about to change to a new larger camper van.
Does anyone know of a site that gives a chart of what different insurance companies offer?
I'm not looking so much for price as once I find a few that offer good cover I will contact them. I'm most interested in what they cover and a customer rating.
Has anyone had claims dealt with by anyone of the big specialist insurers that were good / bad experiences.
Does anyone know if any companies offer pet cover. So if we were in Europe and broke down we would all be able to get home with dog?

we are currently with adrian flux but considering moving to saga - price is similar but saga offer a 12 month green card no extra charge, no limit on time spent overseas and insurance is valid for Morrocco (if we ever go LOL)

i think the 'trick' is to identify what you need, then what you want the insurance to cover and ask those questions over the phone

i also asked if we could add extra annual mileage if we needed it - and they checked and answered yes (at a cost though of course - which wasnt much more than adding it now)

We are currently with Caravan guard and are extremely happy with them, good service and competitive pricing. Previously we were with Comfort insurance for several years but when we move our Motorhome from a storage site to our house the price increased tremendously, however whilst we were with Comfort for several years they were keenly priced.
