Hi! , I'm picking up my very first camper in a couple of days , seems good apart from there is no leisure battery fitted . Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the battery and recommendations on ampage ? Thanks

I'm not familiar with that model, but your handbook should tell you the capacity of the leisure battery and you can measure the space
where it goes.

I assume that it is wired for a leisure battery with split charger and EHU. If not, you'll have additional work to do.

Look at the Smallmotorhomes website which secialises in Romahome and
other small campers.

Only problem is it goes under the seat I'll have to work out a way to measure the height . Really appreciate your help on this guy's 😊

Hi gixxer11 I have a 2001 duo. Mine is a 75amp hour battery. Dimns. are:
H 180 mm (this is max hieght of box)
W 170 mm
L 200 mm   Battery box would take a 200 mm long battery.
Hope this helps.

Happy Romahome hols but perhaps not this year.

Just noticed an error in my dimensions.
Battery box is 280mm long not 200mm.
As for make I don't know without taking it out. It came with the van when I bought it.
It's a 75ahr as anything bigger won't fit in the box.

something bigger might fit or it might be useful to change the battery box and put a 120A battery in as it will last a lot longer than a 75A battery.
