If your motorhome is parked at your home then it’s not illegal to drive it to your local supermarket to do your shopping so do that once a week to give it a run.
------------- Every day should be a holiday!

We alternate taking Mrs.L's car and our camper for a weekly shopping trip. No sense talking about home delivery because not only can we not get a good 'slot', but we're having to try several shops just to get most of our basics.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

Just been to Morrisons in our van for the weekly shop. At least you can thoroughly wash and sanitise your hands in a clean environment. Also use a clean toilet.
We will use it for every shopping trip. Plus the van gets a 18 mile run.

We had our van booked over 3 weeks ago for eng / hab / and MOT all same day, all same place. That date is not yet here, Still almost 3 weeks away. Our very busy M.H. supplier. BUT it is over the 20 mile distance there and back so it seems we will have to SORN. Can't see any other way of dealing with it. May just put it back in its shed, and keep doing charging / engine runs / and moving it around the yard it is stored at.
One thing I am wondering, not just how we are all managing in this. What about all the dealerships, what about all the manufacturers, the Campsites etc. This is going to take some getting over for both us and them. It's a bit of a BUGger all round. Maybe some one will come up with a 'Virtual Camp Site' in that case, see you all there.

there is no such thing as a 20 mile distance, technically all you need is the vehicle booked in for an mot and having given them your reg number you would be free to drive from lands end to john o groats and back! even now when police might stop you all your doing is going for your mot
