Hey guys, I know this is a long shot, but I reading a lot about cars/campervans these days (on the way to get my license). There is plenty of hybrid/electric cars out there, but not really a camper. I found this awesome company from the UK https://www.ecocampers.com/ but unfortunately, they only have vans with the steering wheel on the right side (just not convienient for us, as we live in the Netherlands).
Any idea where to look is appreciated! Googling ''hybride camper'' mostly leads to hybrids in the sense of half caravan, half tent or whatever.. thanks!

I think camper vans/motorhomes in Europe will probably bypass hybrid and go full electric but I think we are a long way off them being common.

It is based on the Toyota Alphard which is available in LHD. The conversion should be available in LHD.

I thought long and hard about going electric when I was spec'ing my van. In the end, I decided not to wait for VW's electric Crafter (still no release date or prices as far as I am aware), and opted for diesel instead.
A full electric Crafter is probably beyond my reach right now anyway.
Similar situation when I was spec'ing a cheaper car to replace my current one, and opted for a petrol one instead.

Ford Transit is available as both plug in hybrid & mild hybrid versions in UK so I would guess also available in Holland. I’m sure you have campervan builders in Holland that do conversions on a Ford Transit.

The Ecocampers Toyotas are used grey imports from the Japanese domestic market so will only be available in right hand drive. It does appear that right now the only option for a hybrid van in Holland would be a Transit.

Thanks, you guys! I only found the ford tournedo, mild hybrid, which starts at 60000 euros, a bit out of our budget! Guess we should rather look for a diesel, that does not need that much fuel (probably a vw caddy, or a hyundai; I know those are small but we would really only need to sleep in it and they use less than 7 liters per 100 km).
