I have just bought a brand new "20 plate" peugeot motorhome and with just 16 miles on the clock the engine management light came on! Thankfully the dealership is local and I took it back to them. (16.50) - just made it before they closed for the day. They immediately put a mechanic on it assuring me it'll probably be a glitch - yeah right! He got the codes up, reset them, (probably by disconnecting the battery), then it wouldn't start, it had immobilized itself and sent a message to the tracking company. Now they've said they'll probably have to put it on a low loader and take it to a Peugeot garage....I'm not impressed!!

Normally the codes are read and reset by way of the OBD port which is just under the dashboard.
So frustrating when you go to pick up a new van, hope you get it sorted quickly.
Have you spoken to the tracking company to see if they can reset the immobiliser remotely, depending on the type of tracker you have.
I've had the m/h for a week but it's sat on my drive as my mrs was ill and ended up in hospital. When I got to the dealership I left my mobile on the passenger seat. The tracking company called my phone and it came out on the internal speakers. The mechanic spoke up and told them it was in the dealership garage and they can see where it is. As it goes, I'm going back to them early tomorrow as my wife's mobility scooter is in the m/h garage and she'll be needing it.
