I have been lurking on this forum for months.Previously camper then caravanner for many years and always found this people so helpful on that forum. I was widowed last year , took the caravan away for last trip in July and now buying a Renault trafic conversion.
I've got a lot of kit from caravan still but just wondered what was absolutely essential. At mo. my list includes cable, ramps , window covers,
Any advice much appreciated Siobhan K
Look at it the other way, that’s probably quicker as you’re not starting from scratch. Leave out what don’t you need from your caravan kit.
Big stuff - like the Water carrier. You may need a smaller waste water canister or collapsible bucket if your container is big - don’t assume the site will have a drive-over motorhome dump.
Exciting to be off camping again though- well done making the move.
Thanks for that .I know it's going to be different in lots of ways.I live v.close to Peak Park and my respite breaks were always close to home but felt a world away from being a a carer . As always, people on these forums are so supportive and helpful and I've found that on sites as well, as a lone woman .
