Market forces have played a part methinks. With the restrictions on continental travel, a lot more people have been investing in caravans/campervans/motorhomes. Many dealers seem to have had far fewer vans in stock by August than in previous years.
Consequently, the law of supply and demand has played a part causing prices to rise.
I suspect a lot of these newbie caravaners/motorhomers will decide it isn't for them and the market will be rich with nearly new vans in a year or two. And prices may well drop at that point!

Lack of production, so few new models I suppose secondhand values will hold up better, just like caravans.

I really like the look and layout of the elddis 115 the only negative for me is no automatic gearbox but I think I might have to go with manual as the bigger fixed bed options seem really cramped and the boss is not happy with a 7mtr Motorhome on the drive
