We are still thinking of another campervan. Having had one before we know what we need in one and what we don't. So basically I'm thinking of buying a van and insulating it and adding a bed and electrics and a swivel seat. Can I have opinions on the lwb Traffic v Vivaro or any other recommendations on vans of a similar price? Thanks

Same van, there is a Nissan version of it too.
I had a vivaro work van, nice to drive 👍

I drove a vivaro at work 3 or 4 years ago and was really impressed with it.

Comparisons between Vivavo & Nissan or Renault versions - that'll be the old version.

The new one is same as 2017> Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert & Toyota Proace.

Going to follow this one... I'm also thinking of the same type of conversion and the same vans (though I've just come across a vito, 78k automatic, good condition - thoughts anyone? ). I read a lot about them, id be looking to pick one up cheap as this would be in addition to my car and doing a basic conversion myself. I thibk the older 1.9tdi engines are solid and slow, the slightly newer. 1.9 ctdi suffer from water getting down the front of the windscreen and damaging the injectors, also weak gearboxes can be an issue.

Watch out for rust on Vito's. Known a few folk complained about that. Did come across a 2001 Vito a few months back - owner had it from new & it was pristine. It had been resprayed & re coated underneath at some point

I hired a vivaro to help my mum move a few months ago, I was surprised how nice it was to drive, especially when the only other van I’ve driven is a Ducato based motorhome,
